1. The Seller
Septem Horae (the "Service") is provided by Vicktor Moberg("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Septem Horae is a daily prayer companion that provides the traditional Roman Breviary (1960 rubrics), the Ignatian Examen, scheduled reminders, and a private reflection journal. Office texts are drawn from the public-domain Divinum Officium project.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to defraud, spam, or harass other users or us;
- infringe any third party's intellectual property rights;
- interfere with the security of the Service, including by probing, scanning, scraping, or distributing malware.
4. Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
We retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal devotional use. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.
6. Supporter Purchases and Payments
The Service is offered free of charge. You may optionally purchase a one-time Supporter tier (Friend, Patron, Benefactor, or a custom amount) through our Supporter page. Each Supporter purchase grants a Supporter badge on your account and adds your name to the daily prayer list maintained by us. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries, billing support, and handles refunds.
7. Service Level
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance and disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, where Vicktor Moberg resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
